The new Environmental Science major is designed to give students a strong scientific background while allowing them the flexibility to choose courses that address their specific interests.
Declaring the major
Incoming freshmen are asked to declare their interest in Environmental Science during the Admissions process. Any student applying for transfer to the environmental sciences major from other programs within the University, or from accredited colleges and universities, is required to have a minimum grade point average of 2.80 on a 4.00 scale and a minimum of 24 credit hours.
