Natural History at USC

"A naturalist is a person who studies the world of nature and marvels in it..."

and students at the University of South Carolina have that opportunity--to study nature, marvel in it and learn from one of the best naturalists around.  Rudy Mancke joined the School of the Environment as a Distinguished Lecturer in Natural History.  For the Spring 2007 semester, Mr. Mancke is teaching Natural History of South Carolina to undergraduate students.  He is providing our students with hands-on experience with the environment by taking them on field trips across the state.  To see pictures of these field trips, click on the links below.
