Faculty and students at USC’s School of the Environment assist industry, public agencies, and state and federal government organizations in EMS assessment, training, implementation and auditing.

Using various EMS models based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act for continual improvement in environmental performance,  Environmental Management Systems Program (EMSP) personnel provide training courses and EMS implementation and auditing assistance based on the organization’s EMS criteria, e.g., ISO 14001, Navy and Marine EMS Guide, Veterans Administration GEMS Program, and industry sector specific EMS.  EMSP personnel include experts certified in teaching ISO 14001 accredited courses and EMS certified Lead Auditors.
